My world has been severely changed by this little video, I hope yours will too. I can't understand why so many people (tsk tsk Capetonians) are hating on this new video and just M.I.A in general - she's a visionary! I think this is just my innate desire to Saudi Drift speaking - but seriously, how legit is that?! I liked it so much, in fact, I even have it as my Facebook Timeline cover photograph:

So I figured this post should be entitled something to do with both Roxy, Dante and I as well as M.I.A therefore "Bad Girls Do It Well" - lyrics from the new song and our new slogan (Dante's the girliest) ;)

Last night was all kinds rough. Enough said. 

I wish deeply to elaborate - so many stories, so many special people, I just feel slightly zombie-esque at this given moment. Debrief session tomorrow!

Adam and I made a FORT!

Just doing what two, average kids do on a daily basis when faced with immense holiday boredom. In between looking for jobs and talking about our feelings, Adam and I built this beaut. However, once completing the project, I eloquently recieved this gem on bbm from Adam (how incredibly cheeky!):

Talking about beauts - have you seen Miss. Mia pulling a Vogue all up in my pea soup pool and Dants baby striking a sassy one - Geez but I love these kids! Also, I think Dante would be especially pleased with the title of this post/ fort. Oh but I try impress.

With literally a R100 left for the entire remainder of the weekend it's Mal Piet for me all the way. Meeting some beautiful people recently in little Stellenbosch town - be one of them? Hahaaaa!

WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS

Oh my goodness, words cannot describe the feelings of withdrawal I have felt in the last ten days or so! My computer is completely fahked - meaning I can't do a thing! Uploading photographs has proven to be a royal mission consisting of constant reminders of how I've over indulged in free disk space (well, I'm very sorry Mr. MacBook) 

Anyway, as fortune would have it I have a WONDERFUL grandfather that has decided to treat Miss. Jones to a brand new iMac, out of the box and into my little clutches! Boy, but I am a lucky girl. 

Of course (because life is ironic this way) these past ten days have been filled with so much life, death (unfortunately), memories, excitement, FOMO, goodbyes, music, job proposals, events, boys, flowers, cake and a myriad of dramatic disclosures. I have so many photographs to share with you all - just hang on for another day or two! Also; if you have gotten this far, reading my rants, I applaud and thank you. Sometimes I wonder why I write so much on my blog - I never read more than a paragraph on other blogs!

SEASIDE NOSTALGIA

Just got back today from a wonderful little week long stay in Pringle Bay with my best friend El'cat and her family. 

A happy new year to you all! 

I hope your New Years Eve was exciting and all kinds riveting - of course, just as I believe this upcoming year will be for you all. 

Mine was surprisingly fun (however, I still find it difficult to fathom that I spent my last minutes of 2011 and first of 2012 in a crummy Pringle Bay bar aptly nicknamed 'the gat'). Following this, an eventful clamber down to the beach at approximately 3AM; a confusing champagne drinking escapade with a white Maltese poodle; four unusually casual beach-streakers; one very large campfire and a whole lot of pretending I was from Brighton, England (don't ask). 

I very much enjoyed getting to know Jack Agnew - guy's such a thug, apparently Just Another Contract Killer. I particularly have fond memories of Monday or Tuesday night's 'unfoldings' (aaah, can't remember the exact day - holiday mush): it kind of went a little like Lana del Rey's 'Born to Die', yeah, pretty cool. Cooler still, we were almost gobbled up by wild leopard while nonchalantly overlooking "illegal" fishing practices. Naturally, the scene was topped with some Jamie T bellowing out of the Paper Jet's sound system in that sweet little Wimbledon way of his.

All in all a wonderful little seaside vacation :D 

I have but one thing to wish you (especially the girls) for this new and exciting year, and it goes a little something like this:

"May each new year find you a better man and may each passing day be an opportunity for you to share a little piece of your soul with the world. Cheers to another year of enchanting your motherfucking socks off"
