I love things that seem impossible

Matric dance last Saturday - these are my two favourites, yay! Haha.
More to come, of all the other cool cats. A big thanks to Mr. Gavin Collins who took all the pictures at the pre-drinks festivities :)

+ bush-wa/ˈbo͝oSHwä/
Noun: Rubbish; nonsense. A euphemism for 'bullshit'.

This song is tremendous!
Ain't Misbehavin' by Fats Waller - a really wonderful jazz standard.
Click here to listen to it!
The 1920s sound excellent, ai ai.

TEENAGE ANGST and that all familiar 'why do the people who you would like to notice you never do - and the ones that do notice, however, are GA'AY and lame'

It's a mighty problem I say! Anyway, my matric dance is tomorrow, so yay?

+ New favourite thing: Stefan's car! And not in the gross way that you think! His car's stereo has introduced me to punk cabaret singer Amanda Palmer! Very cool, the cutest lyrics you ever did hear :D

Just had a lovely cup of tea with Adam friend! Great to be soaking up the sun on such a fine day!

I've literally gone out every night this week, which leaves one with heavy lack of sleep syndrome where in moments of the day I catch myself yawning a little longer than usual or suddenly undergoing waves of intense lethargy where I just want to lie in the sun and bask like the cat that I am.

Speaking of cats, can we please just direct our attention - for a second - to these adorable pictures I took of my cat-companion Nougat this afternoon! Also pay some attention - I'm rather attention seeking this afternoon, aren't I? - by having a quick look at my fabulous new Vivienne Westwood Melissa shoes! I think, I am in love... And yes, I realise I just minimised myself to a cultural female cliche by saying that I have romantic feelings toward a pair of shoes, but, you see, if you do not (at this present time) share the same emotion toward my new favourite thing you obviously haven't seen them in person yet - and I assure you, that for a long while in the future you will see me parading around in my purchase! I'm telling you, this ATTRACTION is FATAL.

+ I'm such a busy girrrrl, I have to keep track of my own whereabouts! :

So happy to have finally met the famous Mr. Stefan Benade, Mia's date for the Matric Dance. Had a lot of fun with him last night (that sounds dodgy, but I was ladylike about it, aaakay). Mia better get ready, he's got some CRAZY moves on the dance floor! I think if we carried on for any longer we would have been kicked out of Terrace, and let me tell you, it takes quite a lot to be kicked out of that dump.

Surprisingly fun night at Mystics last night - everyone is slowly but surely returning to the Bosch (except my much-missed El-cat!). Besides being chatted up by three burly rugby players - who incessantly complimented my peach dress, which was weird - the night on a whole was a success :)

+ Fab news: I've been invited to take part in an exhibition called Bodyblocks which is happening on July 28th at Exposure Gallery at The Old Biscuit Mill. Please please come and support me and see the wonderful creative talent Cape Town has to offer!

That's all from me for now, have a beautiful weekend and stay tuned for some film shots coming soon!

Back from my long weekend away in, well, God knows where and these are just a few snapshots of our time there (that place that God knows about but us mere mortals are stumped by its exact location, yeah, that place)

Had a wonderful time at Mercury last night watching La Roxy and her tantalizingly captivating band, The Red Robins. Keep it up! Pictures of that saga to follow (they're film, so be patient)

Met some great people in the Mother City last night - sorry about me flailing my business (preferably 'biznezz') cards at you, passerby! It's nothing personal, it's just marketing! I also would just like to make it super clear that I love Adam & Roxy Lombard! Alright, cool.

I miss you, Mia le Roux! I know your feet are achin' but I am very proud of you for taking on that massive fucking mountain! We are totally catching up this week whether you're ready for it or not.
I MISS EL'CAT TOO, I HOPE YOU ARE A TOTALLY GLAMOROUS BEST FRIEND THAT WILL SEE THIS POST BECAUSE YOU CHECK MY BLOG EVERY DAY!

Bye now,x
