So, Earth Day is on Saturday (remember!) March 27th. From 8:30PM to 9:30PM all of your lights, appliances and other miscellaneous objects that require electricity should be turned off. Many people believe that Earth hour every year is a outdated initiative when we sit, for an hour, in the middle ages. This is somewhat true, but in some way it can be pretty cool. Lots of people have got really good ideas on how to make this event fun and memorable while still making you feel all warm and fuzzy inside because you are doing a good deed to the prettiest, and lucky for you boys, the most constant woman in your life; Earth.
It's 'cool' to be eco-friendly! I say cool in inverted commas because we don't want to turn out like those Greenpeace freaks that never shave and smell real bad (cause deodrant is bad!). It's cool caring for something bigger than yourself and your own agenda for an hour. And, after your hour of darkness I hope you feel slightly enlightened and realise isn't she lovely?
